Wednesday, MARCH 27 is the 5th Annual
Red Cross Giving Day!

All March, as part of Red Cross Month, you have read stories about the incredible work our Red Cross volunteers do locally, nationally and around the world. As we continue our Red Cross Month celebration, we are holding our 5th annual Red Cross Giving Day to ask the community to continue supporting our mission of helping those in need.

Our annual Red Cross Giving Day happens each March and is a 24-hour fundraising campaign supporting the work of the American Red Cross. Financial donations help provide help, hope and compassion to people affected by disasters large and small.

Nationally, the American Red Cross responds to nearly 62,000 disasters every year. The generosity of the public ensure the Red Cross is able to provide shelter, food, blankets, financial assistance, hygiene items and more. By donating to the Red Cross, your gift can #help1family in the minutes, hours and days after a disaster.

There are 3 easy ways to get involved:

1) DONATE

Financial donations are the quickest and easiest way to ensure people receive exactly what they need when they need it most. You can donate online at redcross.org/givingday or text REDCROSS to 90999 to give a $10 donation.

You could even win a 4-ticket prize pack to see Amy Grant and Vince Gill’s 12 Nights of Christmas Show at the Ryman in Nashvile, Tennessee.

Win lunch and a prive ice-skating lesson with Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton at the Ford Ice Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

2) SHARE

Spread the word about Red Cross Giving Day to your network on social media. Follow @RedCrossDFW or your local Red Cross chapter. Share the stories about the work Red Cross is doing in your community and how people can help support the mission.
