Help save lives. Saving lives is actually easier than you may think. Approximately every two seconds, a patient in the US needs a blood transfusion. A single blood donation can save up to three lives. However, it is the blood already on the shelves that helps save lives, which is why it is so important to donate and donate often. The need for blood is constant and healthy blood donor can donate every 56 days. Think of how many lives you could save. Sign-up at redcrossblood.org.
Support the mission. If you are limited on time and unable to give blood, you can still help by supporting those who can. Ask someone to give blood on your behalf or provide a financial donation that can support the mission of the Red Cross in all areas. It is the generosity of donors like you that make it possible for the Red Cross to serve those in need in NTX, across the country and around the world. Support the mission at redcross.org/donate.
