Serve Your Community with the help of American Red Cross Courses

by Erin Duncan, American Red Cross Digital Volunteer Contributor

There are many ways one can help serve the community, whether it is through donations to a charity of choice or volunteering one’s time for a cause they value. However, anyone can also help serve their community by properly preparing to save a life or provide critical care when a person may need it most. Babysitting & Childcare Training and CPR Training with American Red Crosses are great programs to enroll in to ensure preparedness in situations that require assistance.

The American Red Cross is proud to be the nation’s leader in babysitting classes and childcare training.  When surveyed, 8 in 10 parents reported that they would pay a babysitter that held Red Cross certification more than one who didn’t. From young babysitters looking to take care of their neighbors to seasoned childcare professionals, a Red Cross Advanced childcare certification or Babysitting certification is an impressive qualification to hold.
